Cancelled Study Day: Balthasar’s Theology of Prayer
Cancelled. This study day will examine the various theological dimensions of prayer according to von Balthasar (including trinitarian, Christological, anthropological, and eschatological). In doing so, we will gain an understanding of the ambitious scope and sometimes revisionist nature of Balthasar’s theological project, while also uncovering prayer’s transformative power for the praying person, the Church, and the world.
