Study Day: Women in leadership: Scriptures, Saints and Contemporary Praxis
We shall be exploring scripts, modelling and framing of women in different historical moments captured in the ‘male gaze’ in the Christian Scriptures, ecclesiology, and in our current location emerging from Covid 19. We will ask whether there are particular themes which emerge from the different forms of leadership which is revealed which can inform creative empowerment for women in church and public life today. Bring your questions, your case histories, your bibles and your full selves to a highly interactive and Socratian interactive day of engagement and development.
