Mary Ward (1585–1645) and her companions were pioneering figures in understanding the call of women to full participation in the church and in wider society when such a call was widely rejected. This study day invites us to explore her rich theology of women’s discipleship rooted in the Ignatian tradition of imaginative contemplation and discernment.
