After completing a BA at Bristol University in 1997, Anne Marie pursued a career in healthcare and qualified as an Occupational Therapist at Brunel University in 2006. Alongside pastoral and catechetical work in her local parish, she developed an interest in Christian Spirituality, which led to an MA at Heythrop College in 2014. During that same year, she started working as the RC Chaplain at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This work broadened to include the pastoral supervision of seminarians from Allen Hall seminary as well as the selection of candidates for the priesthood at the Westminster Selection Conference. On completion of her Masters, she commenced a doctorate in Practical Theology and is currently exploring the spiritual growth and identity of women RC chaplains in the UK. She is also a visiting lecturer for the Cambridge Theological Federation and continues to support the Westminster Selection Conference when needed.
