Barnabas is in the middle of co-editing a book of essays with CUP that aims to re-introduce the work of US Catholic theologian David Tracy to a new or renewed readership. He hopes to use his own drafted main contribution to the book as the basis for further writing towards a monograph that would take its spring from Tracy’s work. He hopes to give a joint paper, with a student whose MA dissertation he recently supervised, at the Society for the Study of Theology in April, on reading the Adam and Eve story with Jacques Lacan. Picking up bits of teaching here and there, he has a glint in his eye to start a programme of independent non-accredited teaching at a location in central London. He hopes to work his way round, via paid work elsewhere, to full-time work in academia.
