Dr Claire Daunton is the Chair of the Trustees at Margaret Beaufort Institute. She is also an honorary member of council of the Cambridge University Catholic Association, based at Fisher House.
She is a historian by profession, with a special interest in art history of the medieval period and has acted as a supervisor for undergraduates in the University of Cambridge.
Claire is also a County Councillor for Cambridgeshire, representing in particular the seven communities within the county’s Fulbourn Division. She serves on a number of county committees covering health, education, social care, highways and transport, communities and social inclusion. She is also the county representative on the Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation trust. She is also a school governor.
Claire has been a Trustee at the institute since March 2018.
